Orl Stringer was born September 28, 1927 and departed this life December 23, 2003 reaching the age of 76. He is the son of Alvon Stringer and Maggie Parmley Stringer.

He was united in marriage to Charlotte "Tizzie" Stringer, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by: his children- Fred Ward, Carolyn Garner, Francis Duff, Gina Ramsey, Virginia "Bo" Morrow, Janet Cummings, and Sandy Clark; grandchildren – Fred Ward, Jr, Tina Marie Ward, Jennifer Folydna, Holly Duff, Stacy Hardy, Stephanie Riley; Derek Southwood, Irvin Southwood, Wesley Morrow, Tyler Morrow, Samantha Cummings, Cody Cummings, Amanda Phillips, and Grant Clark; great grandchildren – Jackie Folydna, Christopher Riley; Cameron Catron and Callie Phillips; two sisters – Regina Bishop and Alma Melvin along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by his wife – Charlotte, his parents, and one grandchild – Jackie Steiner.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
