Oris Steven Troxell was born November 27, 1955 and departed this life Thursday, January 28, 2021 reaching the age of 65 years. He was the son of the late Willie and Dorothy (Foster) Troxell.

He is survived by: his wife, Lois Troxell; 1 son, Marty Troxell; 1 sister, Nancy Bell; 2 brothers, Cleavie (Kathy) Troxell and Freeman Troxell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 between 10 am – 11 am in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elk Spring Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance.
