Opal Marie Shroyer was born August 28, 1945 and departed this life Saturday, November 20, 2021 reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of the late Wolford and Dora (Russell) Mason.

She is survived by: one son, Tony Shroyer; and two sisters, Josephine Laugter and Beulah Dickinson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Wolford and Dora Mason, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Shroyer; four brothers, John, Hank, Earl, and Ken Mason; and one sister, Viola Ball.

Opal retired from Big Bear. She enjoyed working with flowers and loved everything Disney. She was a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe, perfumes, Bath and Body Works. She loved all children and made them feel good about themselves.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 27, 2021 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parnell Baptist Church Cemetery.
