Obituary
Opal Howard Lowe was born June 26, 1919 and departed this life Friday, March 06, 2015 reaching the age of 95 years. He was the son of the late John and Jane (Abbott) Lowe.
He married Madie Jane Stinson and to this union 8 children were born.
He is survived by: two sons, Wendell Lowe and Jerry Lowe; five daughters, Christine Brown, Evelyn Blevins, Eva Peercy, Nina Stinson, and Sue Bertram; one brother, Elmer Lowe; three sisters, Jewelene Pyles, Lucille, and Lorene Brumett; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, John & Jane Lowe, he is preceded in death by: his wife, Madie Lowe;one infant child; three brothers, Ova, Shirley, and Hershel Lowe; and two sisters, Aderene Dishman and Glenna Decker.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 after 5pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11am in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sandy Valley Cemetery.
