Opal Davis was born December 21, 1950 and departed this life Monday, March 19, 2012 reaching the age of 61. She was the daughter of the late Earl Brown and Ella Mae (Crabtree) Brown.

She is survived by: 1 son, Johnny Davis; 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, and Jonathan Davis; and 2 great grandchildren, Bryson Jones and Navaeh Davis. She is also survived by: 1 brother, Earl Beecher Brown; and 2 sisters, Alice Carroll and Donna Sue Abner; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Earl and Ella Mae Brown, she was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Lester Ray, Willie, and Charles Robert Crabtree; and 2 sisters, Katherine Marie Crabtree and Pearl Foster.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 from 6 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 11 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. David Frost officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
