Obituary
Opal Bragg was born May 15, 1924 and departed this life Thursday, July 28, 2011 reaching the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Ora Cutlip.
She is survived by: 2 sons, Bro. Ron (Carolyn) Bragg of Atlanta, GA and Cliff Bragg of Albany, KY; 5 grandchildren, Doug, Danny, Tiffany, Christopher, and Joseph; 2 great grandchildren, Peyton and Denver; and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by: 1 brother, Murle Cutlip of Elkins, WV; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her mother, Ora Cutlip, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Murle Denver Bragg; 2 brothers in infancy, Elmer and Delmar Cutlip; and 3 sisters, Virginia Rutherford, Mary Flynn, and Goldie Castel.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 1, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Bell officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to:
Immanuel Baptist Church Youth Program or Roger's Grove Baptist Church Building Fund
