Obituary
Ona Mae Walker was born June 2, 1933 and departed this life Tuesday, July 29, 2014 reaching the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of the late Zelmer and Mary Frances (Young) Smith.
She is survived by: children, Randy Shelton, Russell Cox, Jr., Carolyn Sue Boston, Dorsena Tipton, and Regina Faye Alsip; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren with one on the way. She is also survived by: brothers, Elmer and Ray Smith, Albert and Bill Lowe; and sister, Darlene Mounce; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Zelmer and Mary Smith, her husband, Ikie Walker, she was preceded in death by: one brother, Ernest Smith; and one sister, Opal Turner.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2014 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 at 1pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
