Ometa Lavon "Cricket" Morrow was born February 25, 1948 and departed this life Friday, January 26, 2018 reaching the age of 69 years. She was the daughter of the late Henry Hamilton and Beatrice Earl (Hicks) Atkinson.

She is survived by: sons, Jerry Mink, Tim Villareal and Scottie Morrow; daughter, Pamela Kilburn; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: brothers, Henry and Mintford; sisters, Olene Morgan, Donna Shelton, and Wanda Atkinson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Henry and Beatrice Atkinson, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Harold Morrow; one son, Samuel Sean Morrow; brother, Jack Atkinson; and sisters, Alva Pendleton, Betty Crabtree, Dorothy Atkinson, and Ruth Wilson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
