Obituary
Oleta Peercy was born February 26, 1937 and departed this life Saturday, July 10, 2010 reaching the age of 73. She was the daughter of the late Ina Thrasher.
She is survived by: her husband, Robert "Bob" Peercy; 1 son, Ricky Peercy and fiancée, Linda; 3 daughters, Peggy Sue Dufek, Cheryl (Jay) Young, and Terri (Charlie) Kilgore; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 1 brother, Eugene Thrasher; and 1 sister, Ernestine Albertson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by: her mother, Ina Thrasher.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 4 – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 12 noon at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmie Dishman officiating. Burial will be in Gap Creek Church Cemetery.
