Obituary
Oda Smith was born September 19, 1944 and departed this life Sunday, April 3, 2011 reaching the age of 66. He was the son of the late James and Katherine (Miller) Smith.
He is survived by: his wife, Linda Smith; 2 sons, Scott (Juanelle) Smith and Kaywood Smith; and 1 grandchild, MaKayla Nicole Smith. He is also survived by: 2 brothers, Bertie and Clay Smith; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, James and Katherine Smith, he was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, J.W., Joe, and Lisco Smith; and 2 sisters, Mary Allen and Marie Cord.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 1pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Keith McKim and Martha Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Parmley's Grove Cemetery.
