Noxie Perdue Wright was born November 26, 1938, and departed this life on Saturday, August 17, 2024, reaching the age of 85 years. She was the daughter of (the late) Paul and Marie (Cooper) Perdue.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Kathern (Bill) York, and Jacquita (Tim) Frost; 4 grandchildren, Lance and Lonnie York, Chelsea Allen, and Whitney Frost; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Ina, Harold, and Ray Perdue; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Wright; 1 son, Lonnie Pierce; 1 grandson, Jonathan Frost; and 2 sisters, Helen Deaton, and Alta Ragan.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, between 5:30 pm and 8 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
