Obituary
Norris Withers was born September 8, 1932 and departed this life Monday, October 27th, 2014 reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of the late George and Bessie (Brummett) Withers.
He married Knoxie Mae Crabtree and to this union 3 children were born.
He is survived by: wife Knoxie Mae Withers; one son Tim Withers of Monticello, KY; two daughters Lori Parker of Stanford, KY and Betsy Prater of Somerset, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: two brothers Deralph and George Withers; as well as one grandchild, Lenora Mae Parker.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
He was saved and baptized in Indianapolis, Indiana and grew up in the Nazarene Church.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 30th, 2014 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 31st, 2014 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
