Norman Wade "Wayne" Bell, age 61 of Monticello, KY, passed away June 28, 2016 at Wayne County Hospital.
He was born April 29, 1955 (at the Denney farm) in Wayne County to the late Arvin and Jewell Bell.
He married Rosie Perkins and to this 39 year union two daughters survive: Crystal Morales and Sally Sumner, both of Monticello, KY. He is survived by 9 grandchildren, Kira (Adam) Simpson, Zackary (Anessa) Barnes, Kolton Barnes, Crystal Morales, Savannah, Sylvia, Santana and Scarlett Sumner and Luis (Kimmy) Ramirez, Jr. Also, 8 great grandchildren, Lucas, Malachi and Gabriel Barnes, Levi, Elijah, Madison and MacKenzie Simpson and Hunter Ramirez.
He is also survived by 3 brothers, Ronnie, Paul and Eddie Bell and 6 sisters, Glenna Stonewall, Marilyn New, Ruby Watson, Merry Bell, Grace Smith, and Beverly Diaz.
He is preceded in death by his parents Arvin and Jewell Bell and an infant son, Christopher Wayne Bell.
He was a truck driver for 27 years until his health failed him. He also liked working on lawn mowers, hunting and fishing for a pastime.
As a young boy he attended the Jesus Name Church and believed in this faith. He will be sadly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2016 after 6 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Bell-Hill Cemetery.
