Norma Jean Dishman was born June 3, 1956 and departed this life Tuesday, August 05, 2014 reaching the age of 58 years. She was the daughter of the late Willard and Mildred (Pyles) Evans.

She is survived by: her husband, Cecil Dishman; 2 sons, Cecil Dishman Jr. and Rodney Dishman, both of Monticello; 3 daughters, Becky Fulton, Tammy Catron, and Sarah Dishman, all of Monticello; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; She is also survived by: 5 brothers- Leonard, Delmer, Tim, Larry, and Gary Evans; 2 sisters- Donna Smith and Collene Baker; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 5-9 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 1 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow on the family property in the Gap Creek community.
