Obituary
Norene Sexton, age 88 of Monticello, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 09, 2016 at Hicks Golden Years Nursing Home.
She was born December 23, 1927 in Monticello, KY; the daughter of the late Herschel and Lillie (Smith) Bertram.
She married Ellis Sexton who preceded her in death.
She is survived by: three sons, David Sexton (Martha), Richard Sexton (Darlene), and Dallas Sexton; one daughter, Sharon Sunderland (Gary); and 4 grandchildren, David W. Sexton, Kim Davis, Suzanne Sexton, Stephanie Massengale (Gary); and 3 great grandchildren, Brandon Hicks, Brett Massengale, and Kayla Miller; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Herschel and Lillie Bertram, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Ellis Sexton; and five brothers, William Daniel "Billy, Clyde Kenneth, George Howard, and James Bertram.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 after 6 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 11, 2016 at 10 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
