NOAH BARTON "TOOTS" ABBOTT was born April 29, 1937 and departed this life December 19, 2005 reaching the age of 68 years. He was the son of Oscar Abbott and Montie "Evelyn" Dishman Smith.

He is survived by one daughter, Nila Sue Hurt of Monticello, KY; and two grandchildren, Joey Dodson and Jamie Nieto; and four great grandchildren, Jordan and Katelynn Dodson and Jonah and Joseph Nieto. He is also survived by four brothers, Bruce and Huey Abbott both of Monticello, KY; Leonard Abbott of Frankfort, IN and Randall Abbott of Frankfort, KY; and Marjorie Crabtree of Louisville, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Abbott; his mother, Evelyn Smith; and three brothers, Cletus, Donnie, and Roscoe Abbott.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.


Visitation: Wednesday, December 21st after 5 pm and Thursday, December 22nd after 8 am
Funeral Service: Thursday, December 22nd at 2 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
