IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nicholas Michael
Humble
October 18, 1982 – April 30, 2020
Nicholas "Michael" Humble, 37, was born in Maury County, TN but he was a lifelong Bradley Countian. He was the son of Nicholas W. and Sandra Y. Humble. Michael was a gifted athlete, playing anything that was in season through his formative years. In high school he played varsity basketball, baseball and golf. He was a highly rated player, but he suffered a knee injury during his freshman season, then again in his junior season, but came back once again to reclaim his starting position.
Michael was a lifetime member of the North Cleveland Church of God where he was a regular attender. He was often outspoken about his faith and shared his testimony on many occasions.
He was involved with the Men/Women of Action and especially disaster relief. He was working with them just this last week digging out from the tornado damage to our city. He was a big hearted guy who helped a lot of people, many who never knew it was he who pitched in for their benefit. He had a way with children, and he put zest into life.
He owned and operated Clean Cut Lawn Service for the past 21 years, servicing both industrial and residential properties from Knoxville to Chattanooga. He loved the outdoor work and designing and landscaping.
He was the father of two boys, Nicholas Jaxon Humble and Carsen James Humble, who were the light of is world. He was also step dad to Haley Younce, Trent Stadfield and Lyric Stadfield, whom he loved dearly.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his two sons, his three step children and his mom and dad, his grandmother Elva Carpenter, and many uncles and aunts and loved ones and one special friend Meagan Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gaylord and Fannie Rean Humble, his maternal grandfather, Daily Carpenter and one special uncle, Rick Humble.
He will be interred by his paternal grandparents in the Parnell Methodist Church Cemetery, Monticello, Kentucky.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, and upon recommendations from the CDC for Funeral Homes, a PRIVATE graveside service will be held for Michael Humble. Though services are limited for immediate family members only, please feel free to sign the online guestbook or send a private condolence message through our website.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that any contribution be made to the Men/Women of Action/Disaster Relief. You can securely donate online through the MWOD online PayPal account or donate via personal check to Men and Women of Action, 1510 Stuart Rd. NE, Suite 109, Cleveland, TN 37312.
