Niakio "Nike" Parmley was born July 18, 1954, and departed this life Monday, November 4, 2024, reaching the age of 70 years. She was the daughter of the late Oliver and Lydia (Stringer) Parmley.

She is survived by: two brothers, Barry Rook Parmley (Diane) and Anthony Dale Parmley; her sister-in-law, Karen Parmley; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Oliver and Lydia Parmley, she was preceded in death by: siblings, Larry Parmley, Charlotte Crouch, Jerry Parmley, Eric Parmley, Janet Bates, Rex Parmley, and Mark Parmley.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2024, between 10 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Parnell Methodist Church Cemetery.
