Nell Boston Coop was born November 21, 1938 and departed this life July 5, 2018 reaching the age of 79 years. She was the daughter of the late Ola Jackson and Thelma (Lovell) Boston.

She married Clay Coop and to this union four children were born.

She is survived by: one son, Anthony Coop (Carolyn) of Monticello; two daughters, Stephanie Coop and Jane Colyer both of Monticello; five grandchildren, Desi, Josh, Sarah, Harley, and Miranda; and two great grandchildren, Willow and Jackson. She is also survived by: three brothers, Frank, Charles, and Dan Boston all of Monticello; four sisters, Betty Buckley, Amelia Sue Bassett, Julia Sims, all from Monticello, and Carolyn Speer of Houston, TX; and honorary grandchildren, Zara Krueger, Laura and Simone Muller; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Clay Coop; one son, Jarred Coop; one grandchild, Haven; four brothers, Gilbert, Preston, Thomas, and Joe Boston; and one sister, Joyce Abbott.

Nell was a member of Meadow Creek Methodist Church.

She was a homemaker, farmer, mother to many, and stranger to few.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 7, 2018 after 6 pm at the Boston Family Farm, Boston Road, Monticello, KY 42633. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 2 pm at the Boston Family Farm. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
