Neal Nissley, 80 years 4 months and 8 days, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at his home in Monticello, KY. He was born in Dover, Delaware on September 12, 1942, the son of the late Calvin D.  and Lena A. (Miller) Nissley.

He was married to Katie (Hershberger) for 59 years and to this union five children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Katie Nissley; children, Robert Nissley (Ella Jean), David Nissley (Janice), Eddie Nissley (Loretta), Betty Bulubenchi (Cornel) and Calvin Nissley (Melissa); 35 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He is also survived by:  four brothers, Leroy Nissley (Barbara), Vernon Nissley (Annie), Calvin Jr. (Ruth Ann), and John Nissley; and two sisters, Lydia Graber and Ruth Nissley.

In addition to his parents, Calvin and Lena Nissley, he was preceded in death by: two grandchildren, Gabriel Nissley and Geanina Bulubenchi.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 21, 2023, between 2 pm - 5 pm and 6 pm – 9 pm at the Pleasant Ridge Mennonite Church.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023, at 10 am at the Pleasant Ridge Mennonite Church.  Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Mennonite Church Cemetery.
