Nancy Ann Chriswell

Nancy Ann Chriswell was born August 9, 1953, and departed this life Sunday, August 9, 2026, reaching the age of 73 years. She was the daughter of the late William Gobel and Elizabeth (Castle) Duncan.

She is survived by: children, Erik Chriswell (Janessa), Rachael Elizabeth Chriswell (fiancé, Shawn Tucker) and Stacy Chriswell (Rodney Burnett); grandkids, Wesley Roberts, Michaela Sexton, Aaron Sexton, Mitchell Sexton, Payton Baker, Sara Baker, Addy Chriswell; and 9 great grandkids; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, William Gobel and Elizabeth Duncan, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Larry Chriswell; two brothers, William “Billy” Duncan and Jack Crawford Duncan; and two sisters, Mary Shoemaker and Maymie Dunagan.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 14, 2026, between 10 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
