Nancy Carrender was born April 22, 1937 and departed this life Tuesday, March 13, 2012 reaching the age of 74. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Evelyn (Bassinger) Huff.

She is survived by: 1 daughter, Kristy Foster of Monticello, KY; and 1 grandchild, Darian Foster of Monticello, KY. She is also survived by: 1 brother, Henry (Linda) Huff of Indiana; and 1 sister, Lola (Kenneth) Gilmore of Indiana; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Thomas and Evelyn Huff, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Lewis Carrender; 1 son, Timmy Atkins; and 1 brother, Curtis Huff.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 11am – 2pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 at 2pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Daniel Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
