Obituary
Myrtle Burris, was born August 21, 1927, and departed this life Sunday, March 15, 2009, reaching the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of the late David and Willie Bertram Catron.
She is survived by: one son, Steve Burris of Monticello, KY; one daughter-in-law, Jeanette Burris of Somerset, KY; one sister, Rose Shearer of Monticello, KY; and step-granddaughter, Shannon Corder of Monticello, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Paul Burris; one son, Richard Burris; her parents, David and Willie Catron; 4 brothers, Fred, Elmer, Emmett, and Esco Catron; and 2 sister, Dona Huckaby and Lucy Bertram.
She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, step grandmother, sister, aunt, relative and friend that will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Tuesday, March 17th, 2009, after 5pm at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 18th, 2009, at 11am at the funeral home.
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
