Montie A. Sutton was born March 30, 1962, and departed this life Sunday, July 19, 2026, reaching the age of 64 years. He was the son of the late William “Bill” and Bessie (Watson) Sutton.
He was united in marriage to Loretta Sutton and to this union two children were born.
In addition to Loretta, he is survived by: his children, Miles Sutton and Chantica Troxell (Seth); grandchildren, Emma, Eilise, and Ella Troxell, Brian, Miley, Braiden, Brantley, and Colt Sutton. He is also survived by: one sister, Billie Sutton; nieces and nephews, Tiffany Ferrell, Jared Duncan, and Courtney Duncan; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 24, 2026, between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 24, 2026, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
