Mildred Poe was born August, 20, 1919, and departed this life January 28, 2005, reaching the age of 85 years. She was the daughter of the late George Thomas Cooper and Vervin Ethel Rankin Cooper.

She was united in marriage to Robert "Roy" Poe and to this union 5 children were born.

She is survived by her son Robert Poe of Columbus, Indiana; three daughters, Janice Correll, Loma Watson, and Donna Bell, all of Monticello; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Jewel Perdue; four brothers, Wilson Cooper, Fox Cooper, Claude Cooper, and Rankin Cooper; six sisters, Lela Rector, Pearl Coe, Lucy Rogers, Mollie Cooper, Marie Denney, and George Thompson; and one grandchild.

She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
