Obituary
MILDRED LEWIS was born June 26, 1919 and departed this life November 26, 2004 reaching the age of 85 years. She was the daughter of John Sexton and Nancy Russell Sexton.
She was united in marriage to Ray Lewis in 1941 and to this union seven children were born.
She is survived by five children, Nancy Stockton of Louisville, KY, Eugene Lewis of New Castle, IN, Billy Lewis of Monticello, KY, Tommy Lewis of Louisville, KY and Dianne Patterson of Lawrenceburg, KY; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great grandchildren.
She is also survived by three brothers, Stanley Sexton of Indiana, Jack Sexton of Danville, KY and Kenneth Sexton of Monticello, KY; and one sister, Hazel Carrender of Harrodsburg, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Lewis; her parents, John and Nancy Sexton; two sons, Donald Kay and Alvin Richard "Dickie" Lewis; and two brothers, Everett and Eugene Sexton.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Sunday, November 28 after 5 PM
Funeral Service: Monday, November 29 at 2 PM
Interment: Alexander Cemetery
