Michael Ray Bridgeman, age 45, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the Wayne County Hospital, the result of an automobile accident. Michael was born on August 27, 1974 to Gilbert Bridgeman and Kathy (Denney) Bridgeman Tucker.

He is survived by his mother, Kathy, three children, Chelsea Bridgeman of Monticello, Gage and Lexi Bridgeman of Anderson, Indiana and Makayla Bridgeman of Albany, KY. Also surviving is his grandfather, Eugene Denney of Monticello; siblings, Wendy (Bridgeman) and Rob Mason of Clay City, KY,  Josh White of New Castle, IN,  and Melinda Tucker of Monticello; 1 niece, Nevaeh Bridgeman and 1 nephew, Robert Mason II of Clay City. His aunt Barbara Bridgeman Dykes of Somerset, KY; 2 uncles, Roger & Diane Denney of Ocala, FL. and Tim & Robin Denney of New Castle, Indiana. He was also survived by the mother of his children, Lorie Young and Amanda Norris.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Gilbert Bridgeman, his maternal grandmother, Bernice Asberry Denney, his paternal grandparents Gene & Pauline Bridgeman. Michael had accepted Jesus as his Savior many years ago, but he had many hurdles to cross throughout his life.  He had won these battles in the end and his life was getting together, but God had other plans and called him home.  We know not his reason, and are not to question.

He will be sorely missed by his many family and friends. But one thing that gives us comfort is knowing he is with his dad and grandparents. And all things are forgiven.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 21, 2019 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, October 21, 2019 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
