Melvina Walker was born May 20, 1952 and departed this life Thursday, March 14, 2013 reaching the age of 60. She was the daughter of the late Betty Jane (Switzer) Condreay and Melvin Floyd Elliott.

She is survived by: her daughter, Amy Elliott; 3 grandchildren, Samantha Gregory, Jordan Roysdon, and Madison Stringer ; half-brother, Robert Biddinger; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Betty Jane Condreary and Melvin Elliott, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Douglas Walker; grandson, Jaimie Elliott; 2 brothers, Steven and Lonnie Elliott; and 1 sister, Minnie Elliott.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 from 10 am - 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Munsey and Bro. Jack Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Gap Creek Cemetery.
