Melissa Peavie was born February 24, 1949 and departed this life November 9, 2003 reaching the age of 52 years. She was the daughter of Herbert Dishman and Ada Stinson Dishman.

She was united in marriage to Russell Peavie who survives her.

She is also survived by her father – Herbert Dishman, 6 brothers – General, Lonzo, Donnie, Arnold, Kenny, and Tim Dishman, 3 sisters – Leta Dishman, Lexie Neal, and Lottie Guffey.

She was preceded in death by her mother – Ada Stinson Dishman.

She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: The family will receive friends afte 5:00 pm, Tuesday, November 11 in the funeral home chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 12 at 1:00 pm in the chapel
Interment: Dishman Cemetery
