Mayme Burnett, age 76 of Monticello, KY, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Clinton County Care and Rehab in Albany, KY.

She was born August 18, 1942 in Monticello, KY; the daughter of the late Moses and Lucy (Meredith) Crabtree.

She is survived by: one son, Paul (Betty) Burnett; one daughter, Kathy (Larry Dean) Pyles, and daughter in law Patricia (wife of Lester) Burnett; 10 grandchildren, Deric, Joshe, Dustin & Kasie Burnett, Larry Joe Pyles, Deanna Stinson, Joanna Pyles, Caramie Bailey, and Jennifer & Roseanna Pyles ; and 24 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by: five brothers, Fred, Jerry, Stanley, Billy and Wayne Crabtree; and two sisters, Lillie Catron and Anna Malone; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: one son, Lester Burnett; and one sister, Barbara Ann Crabtree.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 6, 2019 from 5 until 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the New Sandusky Cemetery
