Maybelle Hicks was born February 19, 1964 and departed this life Monday, October 10, 2022 reaching the age of 58 years. She was the daughter of the late Frank Foster and Nola J. (Abbott) Neal.

She is survived by: three sons, Eric Wallen, Joseph Hicks and Charles Hicks; and four grandchildren. She is also survived by:  two brothers, Jackie Abbott and David Wallen; and two sisters, Mary Troxell and Judy Wombles; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Bratcher.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 14, 2022, between 5 pm –  8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Grant Roberts Cemetery.
