Mary Ruth West was born on January 26, 1944, and departed this life on Friday, December 27, 2024, at 80 years old. She was the daughter of (the late) George and Gertie (Branscum) Kidd.

She married Henry C. West on June 24, 1959, who preceded her in death on September 21, 2013.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Henry C. West; five brothers, Clyde, Vincent, Denver, Joe, and Milton Kidd; and four sisters, Kelsey Lee Hahn, Ezma Baldwin, Nevada Corder, and Alma Potts.

Mary was a member of the Bethal Bible Holiness Church in Frankfort.

She was a loving sister, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
