Mary Agnes Sutton was born on May 28, 1944 and departyed this life on Thursday, September 15, 2022 reaching the age of 78 years.  She was the last surviving child of McKinley and Pearl (Guffey) Clark.

She is survived by:

Her children….. Kenny Sutton (Beverly West), Lisa Wilson (Tony Garcia) and Jeff Sutton (Angela) as well as her son-in-law Garry Koontz.

Ten grandchildren….. Ten grandchildren…..Travis Koontz, Shawwona Koontz, Candy Koontz, Mickey Sutton, Jakeilla Ellis, LaKinzie Wallace, Conner Pendleton, Carolyn Pendleton, Brittney Ivey, and Hannah Sutton.

Twelve great grandchildren…..Joshua Pendleton, Madison Glidewell, Sophia Stearns, Kadence Fairchild, Jaxson Pendleton, Jayla Howe, Lyla Ellis, Lilly Ellis, Liam Ellis, Emerson West, Matthew Morrow, and Avett Sutton.

As well as a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by two children, Paul Sutton and Teresa Koontz as well as her siblings, Porter Clark, Betty York, Marie Barnes, Pauline Owens, Glenna West, Lucy Weston, Oma Buster, and Bernice Dulworth.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, relative, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20 ^th , 2022, from 11am-2pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 20 ^th , 2022 at 2pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darrell Ragan officiating. Burial will be in the Choate Cemetery.
