Mary McVey was born July 20, 1949 and departed this life Friday, March 30, 2012 reaching the age of 62. She was the daughter of the late Walter "Bud" Kastner and Freida Kohls.

She is survived by: her husband, Charles McVey of Monticello, KY; 1 daughter, Victoria Lynn Scott of Monticello, KY; and 1 grandchild, Dakota Scott. She is also survived by: 1 sister, Karen (Jim) Young of Loveland, OH; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her son, Michael James Harris.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 6 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Art Wiggins and Bro. Herbert Eugene McVey officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY.
