Obituary
MARY LATHAM was born February 20, 1934 and departed this life March 31, 2005 reaching the age of years. She was the daughter of Henderson Shelton and Vela Crawford Shelton.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Hockensmith of Lexington, KY; two grandchildren, Krystal Hockensmith of Lexington, KY and Alisha Shaikh of New Hampshire; and one great grandson, Adam Shaikh.
She is also survived by two sisters, Sallie Marie Tucker of Monticello, KY and Elise Shelton Means of Decatur, AL; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henderson and Vela Shelton; one brother, Virgil Shelton; and two sisters, Edna Marcum and Flonnie Harris.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Saturday, April 2 after 5 pm and Sunday, April 3 after 8 am
Funeral Service: Sunday, April 3 at 2 pm
Interment: Shelton Cemetery
