Mary Alice Kidd was born November 27, 1933, and departed this life Monday, September 15, 2025, reaching the age of 91 years. She was the daughter of the late Cleo Rector and Beulah Burnett.

She is survived by: her siblings, Betty Decker (Lewis), David Burnett (Cheryl), Leta Piercy, and Dovie Jones (Ron); several nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to her parents, Cleo and Beulah Burnett, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Junior Kidd; several siblings, Johnnie Burnett, Alta Lewis, Vela Burnett, Nancy Haynes, Junior Burnett, Imogene Worley-Critchlow, and Martha Sue Neal.

Mary accepted Christ at the age of 12 and she loved the Lord. She attended church as long as she was able to do so.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Burnett Cemetery.
