MARY HARRIS was born April 21, 1938 and departed this life June 9, 2007 reaching the age of 69 years. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Poore and Effie Pritchard Franklin Poore.

She married Murl Patterson who preceded her in death. She later married James Harris.

She is survived by: her husband, James Harris of Nancy, KY; four sons, Benny Patterson of Louisville, KY, Van Patterson of Rineyville, KY, Mark Patterson of Baker, FL, and Jerry Patterson of Belleview, KY; one daughter, Jenny Campbell of Nancy, KY; 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Leila Mae Young of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ernest and Effie Poore; her first husband, Murl Patterson; one step-son, Stephen Harris; and three sisters, Edna Turner, Wanda Harris, and Maude Brumley.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, June 12th at 1 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
