Mary Garth was born November 3, 1933 and departed this life Wednesday, January 17, 2018 reaching the age of 84 years. She was the daughter of the late Will Hunter and Mattie Lou Garth Hendrickson.

She is survived by: her son, Leon John (Karen) Garth; three brothers, Cecil Ray (Shirley) Garth, James Garth and Richard (Cindy) Garth; and two sisters, Dorothy Garth and Marjorie Doyte; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: one son, Bobby Garth and one daughter, Katy Duncan.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Monticello Cemetery.
