Mary Ida Davidson was born April 26, 1925 and departed this life Saturday, January 9, 2010 reaching the age of 84 years. She was the daughter of the late Proctor and Lizzie (Hurt) Patton.

She is survived by: 4 sons, Everett (Sherrie) Patton of New Paris, IN, Danny (Linda) Davidson of Goshen, IN, Steve (Nancy) Davidson of Kimmell, IN, and Jeffrey Davidson of Goshen, IN; 3 daughters, Betsy Penrose of Goshen, IN, Loretta (Rick) Kline of Avilla, IN, and Becky (Larry) Kauffman of New Paris, IN; 1 son-in-law, Thomas Crabtree; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. She is also survived by: 2 brothers, Bill and Herbert (Della) Patton both of Monticello, KY; and 1 sister, Alice Hill of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Proctor and Lizzie Patton, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Otha Dishman; 1 daughter, Patricia Crabtree; son-in-law, John Penrose; and 1 grandchild, Nathan Kauffman.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Tuesday, January 12th between 6 - 8 pm at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen, IN and Thursday, January 14th between 9 - 11 am
