MARY S. DALTON was born July 6, 1920 and departed this life July 21, 2006 reaching the age of 86 years. She was the daughter of the late William Graves Shearer and Mollie Cook Shearer.

She was united in marriage to Stanley Dalton and to this union two children were born.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheri Allen of Monticello, KY; her son-in-law, Steve Allen; two grandchildren, Mary Beth and William Allen; and one brother, Glen Shearer; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mollie Shearer; her husband, Stanley Dalton; one son, Bruce Allen Dalton; and three brothers, Wilson, Carl, and Marion Shearer.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Sunday, July 23rd after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Monday, July 24th at 1 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
