Mary Criswell was born May 27, 1943 and departed this life Saturday, June 13, 2020 reaching the age of 77 years. She was the daughter of the late Henry Clay and Mossie (Meredith) Crabtree.

She married Willard Criswell and to this union 1 child was born.

She is survived by: 1 son, Gary Criswell; 1 daughter, Stephanie Myers; 2 brothers, Golman Crabtree and Henry Crabtree; 3 sisters, (Twin) Martha Goodman, Ruby Foster and Dolly Howe; 3 grandchildren, Jarred Criswell, Kasey Mize and Katie Myers; 2 great grandchildren, Alexxus Richardson and Emory Mize; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Willard Criswell; 5 brothers, Virgil Crabtree, Ernest Crabtree, John Shelton, Robert Shelton and Milford Shelton; and 2 sisters, Bonnie Shelton and Bessie Mathis.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 between 11 am- 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
