Mary Leta Conley was born February 1, 1924 and departed this life Tuesday, December 9, 2014 reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Lucy (Back) Dalton.

She married James Conley and to this union two children were born.

She is survived by: two sons, Kenneth (Sheila) Conley and Danny (Vickie) Conley; three grandchildren, Angie (David) Phillips, Jamie (Emily) Conley, and Janson (Heather) Conley; four great grandchildren, Kendall Phillips, James Rex and Bryce Conley, and Brody Conley; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Walter and Lucy Dalton, she was preceded in death by: her husband, James Conley; three brothers, Haskell, John, and William Dalton; and one sister, Olive Hazel Dorris.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 11, 2014 after 12pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 3pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In connection to this funeral service, Monticello-Wayne County Florist will be closed after 10:30 am on Thursday.
