Obituary
MARY E. BLEVINS was born September 20th, 1929 and departed this life January 12th, 2006 reaching the age of 76 years. She was the daughter of Clodie McDowell and the late Williams C. McDowell.
She was united in marriage to Howard Blevins.
She is survived by: two sons, Jim Blevins of Monticello, KY, and Bill Schupp of Somerset, KY; two daughters, Martha Blevins of Monticello, KY, and Ellen Blevins of Glasgow, KY; one grandchild, Jennifer Schupp Baker of Monticello, KY; and two great grandchildren, Jakson and Jayla Baker.
She is also survived by her mother, Clodie McDowell; and three sisters, Nancy Smith of Louisville, KY, Sally Phelps of Georgetown, KY, and Betty Ragan of Somerset, KY.
She was preceded in death by her father, William McDowell; her husband, Howard Blevins; two brothers, Joe and Jimmy McDowell; and one sister, Shirley Rogers; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Saturday, January 14th after 5 pm and Sunday, January 15th after 8 am
Funeral Service: Sunday, January 15th at 2 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
