Obituary
MARVIN E. SMITH was born September 29th, 1927 in the Mt. Pisgah community of Wayne County, KY and departed this life Friday, June 15th, 2007 in Clarksville, TN, reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of the late John Martin Smith and Ida Huckaby Smith.
He is survived by his wife Lorene Denney Smith and two sons-Gerald (Linda) Smith of Glendale, AZ and Rickey (Valerie) Smith of Knoxville, TN. He is survived by 5 grandchildren: Kayce, Erick, Lindsay, Matthew and Michelle Smith. He is also survived by one sister-Imogene Cooper of Monticello, KY, along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 1 PM on Monday, June 18th, 2007 in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be held Monday, June 18th, 2007 at 4 PM at the Elk Spring Cemetery.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
