MARTHA "PAT" WEST PHILLIPS was born April 23, 1917 and departed this life on September 8, 2005 reaching the age of 88 years. She was the daughter of William Ingram "W.I." West and Rebecca Corder West.

She was married to Jack Phillips and to this union five children were born.

She is survived by four sons, Joe and Ben Phillips both of Monticello, Henry Phillips of Frankfort, KY, and John C. Phillips of Fairbanks, AK; one daughter, Becky Corder of Crawford, FL; and one sister, Elizabeth O'Hara of Sandusky, OH; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Phillips; her parents, W.I. and Rebecca West; three brothers, James, Robert, and Henry West; and one sister, Billie Laub.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: Saturday, September 10th after 5 pm and Sunday, September 11th after 8 am
Funeral Service: Sunday, September 11th at 2:00 pm
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
