MARTHA LOUISE RELDA FOSTER KEETON came into the world on July 16th, 1924 at Parmleysville to Alpha and Kelsay Foster. On January 29th, 1958 she married Elmer Keeton, they were married for 39 years before his passing. Their children included, Libby, Doris, Zula, Lucy and Grace; and her grandchildren, Lisa, Billy, Stephanie and Brandon. In her heavenly home she joins her husband Elmer, daughter Sherry, her parents, her grandson Jacob, and two other children in infancy; two brothers, Jim and Junior Foster; and her sister, Grace Davis, along with four others who died in infancy.
She is also survived by three brothers, Johnny and Bobby Foster of Monticello, KY and David Foster of Lebanon, TN; two sisters, Alice Stout and Barbara Sue Russell both of Monticello, KY.
She and her sister both were saved together as very young girls at Bethel Church at Parmleysville where she later became a member. At the time of her passing she belonged and went faithfully to Bethesda Methodist Church.
She was known to many as Granny or Flappy. She had more "adopted" grandchildren than we ever knew. Granny loved the lord and always said, "I'm ready but I won't leave till the Lord is ready for me to go."
She passed away peacefully with a smile on Saturday, October 2nd, 2004. She was a precious mother, granny, and friend and she'll always be in our hearts.
