Obituary

Martha "Dorsey" Burris Willoughby Bell, 85, passed away on March 11, 2016, at
Florida Hospital East in Orlando, FL.

She was born January 4, 1931, in the Windy community of Wayne County to the late Claude and Eula Burris.

Preceding her in death was her husband of 40 years, Robert "Bob" Willoughby,
whom she married on February 2, 1957. Also, preceding her was her sister Mary Allison Hammond and her brother Robert "Delno" Burris. Additionally, her second husband Eldon Bell to whom she was married May 28 2004, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sister Ruby "Linda" Burris Bonta and a host of nieces and
nephews-Thomas (Lea) Hammond, Phillip Hammond, Jerry Hammond, Timothy Hammond, Martha (Ron) Tibbs, Christopher Hammond, Lewis Hammond, Melvin (Liz) Hammond, and Robin Hammond, Robert "Greg" Burris, Kevin Bonta, Kenneth Bonta, Dallas Bonta. Also surviving are many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Dorsey was a secretary at Brevard County School Board in Titusville, FL for 30 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Monticello, KY for more than 60 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Monticello, before going to reside in Orlando, FL with her sister Linda Bonta and becoming a member of the Grace Journey Community Church.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 after 2pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 6pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville, TN on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 1pm.
