Marshall Kay Alley was born March 1, 1945 and departed this life Sunday, May 11, 2014 reaching the age of 69 years. He was the son of the late Thomas "Tom" and Cora Anna "Annie" (Parmley) Alley.

He married Norma Morris and to this union one child was born.

He is survived by: his wife, Norma Alley; one son, Randy Alley; one step son, Ricky Morris; four grandchildren, Joshua Alley, Sydney Renee Alley, Jenna McKay Alley, and Castina Stephens; step granddaughter, Shannon; and two great grandchildren, Jeffrey and Adison Stephens. He is also survived by: three brothers, Ray, Clay, and Gene Alley; and two sisters, Lois Troxell and Juanita Troxell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Tom and Annie Alley, he was preceded in death by: two grandchildren, Nicholas Tyler and Laci Rae Alley; and two brothers, Prentis and Huey Alley.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 4pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darrell Bunch officiating.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Marshall Kay Alley Memorial Fund c/o the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
