Mark C. Massengale was born February 6, 1959, and departed this life March 29, 2024, reaching the age of 65 years. He was the son of the late Glen and June (Stearns) Massengale.

He is survived by: his wife, Karen Massengale; his son, Todd Massengale; stepson, Travis Harris (Morgan); one grandson, Jack Harris; one sister, Jill Massengale (Tim Hollars); along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

Mark was a life-long farmer and enjoyed hanging out with his farming buddies at the barn. He loved watching UK basketball and playing with his grandson, Jack.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mark will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 1, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to:  American Cancer Society or Glen Massengale FFA Scholarship Fund
