Obituary
Mark Karelis was born February 5, 1972 and departed this life Sunday, January 1, 2017 reaching the age of 44 years. He was the son of John Karelis and Barbara (Vomish) Karelis.
He is survived by his wife, Katy Lynne (Cook) Karelis of Monticello, KY; three step sons, Zackery Albrecht of Indiana, Samuel and Maxwell Albrecht both of Monticello, KY. He is also survived by his father, John (Michele) Karelis of Chillicothe, OH; his mother, Barbara Karelis of Crabtree, PA; four brothers, David (Cindy) Karelis of Fairmont, WV, William Karelis of Crabtree, PA, James Karelis of Latrobe, PA, John (Stephanie) Karelis of Tuscon, AZ; and two sisters, Susan (Ron Fromell) Karelis of Latrobe, PA and Carolyn Karelis of Crabtree, PA; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was a loving husband, step father, son, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service, officiated by Michael Roloson, will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 3 p.m. at New Covenant Fellowship Church, 71 Huffaker Street, Monticello, Kentucky.
